Overview
AIG Passport for Excess CasualtySM helps multinational companies purchase locally admitted excess casualty liability insurance to cover their international operations and subsidiaries. In many jurisdictions, local regulations require a policy issued by a locally licensed carrier and, in addition, local courts may prohibit a subsidiary from having its parent company's insurance policy pay claims. For these reasons, it is crucial to have a locally admitted excess casualty policy. With AIG Passport for Excess Casualty, multinational companies may request excess limits on top of existing foreign general liability primary policies. Limits are issued by AIG Companies, compliant with local laws and regulations. AIG PassportSM for Excess Casualty is available through the AIG PassportSM Web site (www.aigpassport.com).
